A. Bring sunblock, sunglasses and whatever you want to eat and drink for the day. There is plenty of ice and cooler space on the boat. Also, please bring a cooler for the fish you would like to bring home.

A. If unsure, we definitely recommend taking sea sick medicine, especially with younger children. This will help ensure the experience is fun and enjoyable. It has been proven that taking the medicine the night before and again in the morning, will work best.

A. We are restricted by the USCG and limited to 6 passengers.

A. No, the boat has all the required licenses and permits to ensure you are covered.

A. Yes, but it is not really needed unless you are dying to catch fish on your tackle. The boat has all the latest tackle needed to catch fish.

A. Yes, there is a very neat and clean restroom on the boat. A boat’s head can only dispose of what you have eaten and some toilette paper. There is a trash can and bags in there for any feminine products, ect. Many thanks…

A. Yes, this is a private charter and we do not mix groups of people. The price is for the boat and up to 6 people. This helps ensure you have a great experience with your family and friends.

A. We typically do not take a deposit, but please ask if something comes up to let me know as soon as possible so that we can book another trip.

A. Yes, all the fish we catch is yours to take with you. We will filet and bag the fish at the end of the trip after taking photos of your catch.

A. Depending on your scheduled charter, we recommend that you arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled charter excursion. We want you to have an awesome experience and this will you give time to get on the boat and be ready for your fishing adventure. We try to depart about 6:45 on most full day trips, and the half day trips typical depart at 6:30 for morning trips and 12:00 for afternoon trips.

A. Absolutely. We recommend bring a good quality sunblock and reapplying throughout the day. The sun can be intense, so we also recommend bringing sunglasses, a hat and a light colored long-sleeve to better protect you.

A. We would love for you to bring beer. We are an eco-friendly charter boat company and request that you do not throw any beer bottles or cans overboard.

A. We get this more often than you think. We welcome all non-experience and experience boaters. Our expert captains, whom are also US Coast Guard certified have years of experience and will make your fishing trip a safe and fun adventure.

A. We will typically be between 15 and 30 miles offshore, depending where the fish are biting. Our typical run to the fishing grounds is about 1.5 hours give or take.

A. Of course, we have a large comfortable boat and have children’s life jackets aboard.

A. The Ambush is a new 36 foot Calvin Beal. It is a very large 36′ boat with plenty of cover and comfort. You will not get wet and there is plenty of shaded area if you desire.

A. Yes, you can pay with cash, check or credit card. I encourage cash or check if able, due to we have to run the credit cards through the marina and they charge a 4% surcharge. That said, any method is fully accepted. Please do not forget gratuity for the hard work the crew puts in.

A. Depending on where the fish are, you will typically get 2-3 hours of fishing on a half day trip.
